During my intensive IT Support and Computer Engineering bootcamp, I gained comprehensive, hands-on experience across the full spectrum of modern infrastructure and enterprise technology. I worked directly with computer hardware and internal components, building a solid foundation in physical system architecture before advancing to complex network environments. My technical training included the practical configuration of Windows Servers and Active Directory for domain management, as well as the deployment of virtual machines using Hyper-V. Additionally, I mastered cloud administration through Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, while gaining proficiency in configuring physical networking equipment to ensure secure and efficient data flow.
Working as a cohesive team, we executed an end-to-end site deployment that began with the installation of structured network cabling and hardware integration into core switches. We configured 40 workstations and successfully joined them to the local Domain Server for centralized management, ensuring a seamless onboarding process, as well printer deployment and configuration. To optimize network performance, we assigned static IPs to critical hardware and configured DHCP reservations on the router for mobile devices. Additionally, we managed the physical installation and IP-configuration of an 8-channel CCTV system to ensure comprehensive site security
In my role providing technical support to Amazon employees, I manage complex hardware and software troubleshooting to ensure seamless IT operations within a massive enterprise environment. I have gained extensive experience navigating large-scale IT infrastructure, including the management of multiple MDF and IDF rooms and overseeing Demarc points to maintain site connectivity. Beyond standard support, I have developed technical proficiency in Ubuntu Linux, utilizing the command line and executing Python scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency. Additionally, I have mastered a suite of Amazon internal IT tools specifically designed for global scale. This experience has been further enriched by direct, one-on-one mentorship with leadership, allowing me to refine my leadership skills and strategic thinking within one of the world's most innovative work environments.
During a critical peak operational period, I took the initiative to manage the firmware compliance for our spare network hardware, specifically Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500 switches, IE2000 industrial switches, and ISA3000 firewalls. Through my own research of internal documentation and established protocols, I sourced the validated software packages from our secure repositories and mastered the upgrade procedures. I manually configured each device using a console cable and PuTTY, where I updated the firmware to the latest versions, set the correct boot parameters, and optimized flash memory by removing legacy files. For the industrial units, I implemented a robust upgrade path using SD card migration. My efforts resulted in a 100% readiness rate, ensuring that all spare units were fully patched and ready for immediate provisioning. This proactive strategy strengthened our operations continuity, allowing for "plug-and-play" hardware replacement that minimized potential downtime during peak performance periods.
Recognized for exceptional contributions to team engagement initiatives and fostering a positive work environment. As the POC for Team Engagement at my local site, I coordinated engagement activities, managed rewards distribution, and maintained accurate activity trackers. This centralized leadership improved operational efficiency by streamlining communication with program managers and ensuring more effective site-wide team participation.
